Targeting criteria

Five families of criteria, combined in a single search.

The catalogue holds more than a thousand entries, but what matters is elsewhere: any two criteria combine with no order constraint, and it is that combination that builds a list your competitors don’t have.

How they combine

A single criterion targets nothing. Two start to say something.

The families are not used one after another but together: it is the combination that produces a list no one else has. Three examples, taken from real targeting.

01
A semantic search for “industrial maintenance” combined with an open position in a technical role: the companies building a team, not the ones talking about it.
02
A building permit filed, combined with a headcount and a 25 km radius around a branch: a dated local market that goes stale fast.
03
Technographics (a specific e-commerce solution) combined with revenue: online retailers of a given size, on a given platform.
The detail, family by family

Markets & signals · what it has just done

  • Commercial profile: B2B, B2C, international, e-commerce.
  • Legal events: Change of leadership, capital increase, merger, closure.
  • Hiring: Open positions, roles sought, volume.
  • Building permits: Filings and approvals, by type of work and by area.

Web presence · what it publishes

  • Websites: The site or sites run by the company.
  • Technographics: The technologies detected on those sites, out of 800 catalogued.
  • Digital channels: Social networks, blog, online store.

Contacts · who to talk to

  • Points of contact: Work email, phone, LinkedIn profile, where available.
  • Roles & departments: By department or by job-title keywords, and by first and last name.
  • Executives: The company officer(s) in post.
Technographics

Eight hundred tools recognised by reading a website.

The analysis looks at the pages themselves: the tags, the scripts loaded, the services called. It observes a tool actually in use, where a declaration only states intent.

What the criteria do not contain

No criterion relates to a private individual.

Contacts are professionals, identified by their role within a company. No sensitive data is processed. The people whose work email is indexed are informed beforehand, a DPO is appointed for access and objection requests, and the personal data protection charter is available online.
